One and a half days before surgery!

Made it to Southern Cal in 11 hours... SLOW for me, although my literal hanicap was a swollen blue/yellowish foot that I still can not stand on or bend very well. Last weeks Snowbird skiing mishap at the PSIA National Academy really put a 'cramp' in my perfect plans for shoulder surgery!
I've had this shoulder surgery planned for months now. Then I had to go and twist my ankle.

Skiing has done it's job on my body or visa versa - all worth it!! Shoot I have skied 40 years of my my life and I've only had 3 bad injuries! That is less than one injury per decade, not bad.

Fast forward to the shoulder thing - being in Southern Cal, hang'n in my Airstream with my Macbook Pro, flatscreen tv, cell phone, room with a view (ok  so I am 2 miles from the beach)...In my parents driveway - free rent!! Next door to my Grandmother -sweet... Dueling surgery with a visiting the family and being in So Cal recovering is not all that bad  -so far...

Duh.  Stay tuned....
